Jill was born and raised in Redwood City, California, and made Colorado home in 2016. She has always been an active, outdoors person but after finishing her Bachelor’s degree, she began getting debilitating migraines that limited her ability to do the things she loved. After exhausting all other options, she decided to see if acupuncture could help. Lo and behold, it was the answer to not just the migraines but to better sleep, less stress, and a healthier lifestyle. Now, as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, Jill works with patients to reach their ultimate health and wellness goals. She believes in the prevention of disease, not just the treatment of it. When not working with patients, Jill enjoys exploring Colorado, hiking, gardening, cooking, and her newest hobby- beekeeping!

After graduating, Jill joined two clinics specializing in fertility medicine. She took multiple continuing education classes and learned from masters in the field to become a fertility specialist. Her passion is helping couples achieve their dream of having a family. She works in conjunction with local reproductive endocrinologists and OBGYNs to achieve the best results possible. Jill specializes in all things regarding women’s health, from menarche to menopause and everything in between. She also spent time taking classes in cosmetic acupuncture, addressing issues both from the perspective of working on the face directly and from a hormonal level. Jen was raised in Massachusetts but has spent most of her adult life in the San Francisco bay area. Jen, her husband, and young son moved to Colorado in 2020. She was interested early on in alternative and holistic medicine. Jen has always been an outdoor enthusiast and the principles of holistic medicine that blend with nature just came naturally. Jen also is a writer and editor of a medical and lifestyle website and has done copywriting for a prominent travel company. Jen and her family are loving living in Golden and enjoying all Colorado have to offer.

Jen received her Bachelor’s degree from Boston University College of Arts & Sciences with a major in anthropology and religion. In 2010 Jen began her journey through her Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, California. In 2013 she graduated with a deep understanding of acupuncture, herbal medicine, bodywork including Tui Na, cupping, and more. Jen had the amazing opportunity to work in China at HangZhou TCM hospital through Zhejiang International Exchange Center. The following six years Jen spent working for busy acupuncture clinics treating patients for orthopedic pain, internal medicine and metabolic disorders, fertility and women’s health issues, and trauma, just to name a few. Jen is conscious and empathetic to a diverse clientele and trauma-informed which helps her gain a better understanding of patients who need deep work. Jen also spent time working for herself and loves to dig into what the root of any patients’ problem might be. She feels that bodywork is one of her standout treatments that she includes with her acupuncture treatments.

Dr. Fick, owner of Evergreen Medical Acupuncture, has a clinical Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Her specialties include chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, orthopedic injuries, and digestive complaints. She has extensive training in Functional Medicine and Injection therapy.
